Kate Vogelsang had questions of whether or not the funds collected for TVMWC had gone into a separate checking account.  Nancy said yes they had.  We are not commingling funds.

OLD BUSINESS:

Somebody had come and filled in the worst of the potholes in the Village.  Not sure who, but it really needed done.

Nancy thanked Carol and Rogene for their work on making the entrance planter so lovely.  We are all glad they have not decided to move away.

Thanks were also given to the Volunteer work party spearheaded by Cindy Gatioan, Bruce Millerbis, Gary & Nancy Standley, Vince & Anita Freemantle, Kent & Audrey Brown, Marcy Parks and Steve Day worked to clear Scotch Broom, Blackberries, poison oak and Flame Trees from the Lone Pine & China Flat intersection.  Mike Wright and Bruce Millerbis cleared around all the hydrants.  Gary Standley worked clearing dead wood from the median, and the TVIA and HBVFD both contributed to have dead trees removed.  Gary also got the county to add 4 sorely needed stop signs to blind intersections; he got fire lane signs for the FD, and put up “NO FIREWORKS” SIGNS.

Last night was relatively quiet for the 4th of July, and there were very little fireworks.

NEW BUSINESS:

There was some confusion this morning about the parade route; we will discuss it further at the annual meeting.  Next year we will put the route in the newsletter so everyone will know where it will be.

Kate Vogelsang mentioned how much she enjoyed the Newsletter, and especially the local history articles.

The next meeting will be Saturday October 4th at Carol & Rogene’s.  Kate Vogelsang will be unable to attend.

No further business, the meeting was adjourned at 12:33pm.
