ANNUAL MEETING

July 2, 2011

The meeting was called to order by Gary Standley at 11AM at the Fire Hall.

The Treasurer’s report was read and approved.  The ending Balance as of July 2, 2011 was $3073.58.

Gary announced the Annual Parade would be Sunday July 3, 2011 and would start at 10 AM. Also the HBVFD breakfast would be Sunday.

Concerns from the membership were expressed about dogs not on leashes, and barking dogs and packs of dogs running in the Village.  Gary suggested that any complaints should be addressed with the dog owners first. If that does not solve the problem Animal Control in Weaverville should be notified.

Nancy Standley reported on the website gotrinityvillage.com.  She encouraged people to use it to share events, and photos of the Village.  Contact Nancy if you have anything to enhance or add to the website.

Gary Standley reported on the Neighborhood Watch Program.  We have 14 volunteers.  He also asked if anyone was interested in volunteering.   It is a great way to meet your neighbors and do a good service at the same time.

Gary Standley thanked Nancy Standley and Cindy Gatioan for doing a great job on the Annual Village Voice Newsletter.  Everyone has really enjoyed the pictures and the information.  If anyone is has suggestions for articles and or is interested in helping next year please contact Nancy or Cindy.

There was a concern about noise problems within the Village.  Please be considerate of neighbors and their peace and quiet. Be aware and be courteous in keeping noise down early and late into the evening.

Gary shared the Thank You letter and donation from Ellen Thompson and Vic Wright for our Feral Cat Project.  Cindy Gatioan, Mary Brown, and Charlene Lundblade are still trapping the wild cats and having them altered.

Gary asked for nominations from the floor for Board members and officers. There were no new nominations and the current officers were elected. It was moved and seconded and all agreed.

Election of officers:

President Gary Standley

Secretary Audrey Brown

Treasurer Dorothy Fullam

Board members Vince Freemantle

Gary advised that the next board meeting would be October 1, 2011 at the home of Kent and Audrey Brown on Fisher Road.

With no further discussion the meeting was adjourned at 11:30AM.

Respectfully submitted,

Audrey Brown

Secretary
