Old Business:

Naomi has found more slides of Trinity Village and is still working with Nancy and Cindy on the Newsletter for this year.

The thank you letters and card from Burnt Ranch School were read and passed around for everyone to enjoy.  They really appreciated the donation and it will help with the trip for the 8th grade class and supplies for the school.  They will be on display at the general meeting in July.

New Business:

Marilyn Dillard suggested we send a Sympathy card to the Bott Family.  Mr. Bott passed away last month.  He was a one of the first property owners here and a supporter of the TVIA.

The Pickle Walk Run will be held May 30th The Hawkins Bar Volunteer Fire Department will have a bake sale again.  Naomi, Charlotte, Nancy, Mary, Audrey, Carol, Rogene, Cindy, and Dorothy all volunteered to bake again this year.

The 2nd Annual Village Wide Yard Sale will be held June 12.  All those participating should contact Charlene Lundblade at 629-4208.  She will do the advertising, put up balloons, and do the map this year.  The HBVFD will also hold their rummage sale at the Hawkins Bar Community Center on the same day.  If anyone does not want to have their own sale, but have things to donate to the fire department sale they should contact Gary Standley at 629-2415.  He will make arrangements for delivery to the Community Center.

Butch Mathews has asked TVIA to help him repair the river road.  It will cost TVIA $600.00 for our part and Butch will pay for the rest.  It will improve the road for river access.  It was moved and seconded to spend the $600.00.

Carol suggested a donation to the Christian School in Willow Creek.  She is going check to see if any of our local children go there before we make any motions to donate there.

The new water system date of completion was discussed, but no one seems to know when it will be completed.

Cindy has a concern of speeding cars on Hawkins Bar Road.  The signs don’t seem to slow them down and speed bumps were suggested.  It is a county road and that would have to be done through the Trinity County road department.  The suggestion would be made to them.

Gary also had a qualification/background flyer to pass on about Dave Cox.  He is running for Trinity County Sheriff.  It was passed around for everyone to read.

The next meeting will be July 3, 2010 at 10:00AM with the Annual General Meeting to follow at 11:00AM at the Fire House.

With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 1:35 PM.

Respectfully Submitted, Audrey Brown Secretary
