Guests present were: Charlotte Dodson, Kent Brown, Cindy Gatioan, Dave Grow, Merry Ann Grow and Harold Hunt.

The minutes of the July 6 meeting were approved.

Dorothy Fullam gave the Treasurers report:
Beginning Balance $5630.44
Income: 620.00
Expenses:
Flowers (Nancy Standley) 52.44
Newsletter (Sue Lerner) 150.00
Phone Alert (Diana Lynn) 36.95
PG&E (June thru Sept.) 101.46
Bank Charge (Checks) 26.55

Bank Balance October 4, 2008 $5883.09

OLD BUSINESS:
Discussed the problems with dogs loose in the Village. The suggestion was made to call Trinity County Animal Control. We should log the times there is a problem, even take pictures to identify the dogs. Even though they do not respond quickly, it is important that we always call to report the problems. If there is enough complaints, they should come out.

Cindy requested a map of the Village to learn streets and addresses. Nancy Standley said copies would be available.

Gary Standley reported on Neighborhood Watch. Anita Freemantle is a new volunteer and we now have 14 signed on. Audrey asked the visitors to consider volunteering.

NEW BUSINESS:
Gary Standley requested we hire someone to paint the Trinity Village sign. It should be done every year. It was approved and seconded that we contact someone and have it done.

There was also a discussion on clearing the blackberries at the entrance, now that picking
Season is complete. It was approved that we hire someone to now clear them.

The next meeting will be at the home of Audrey and Kent Brown, on January 3, 2009 at 1P.M.
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned.

Respectfully submitted,
Audrey Brown
Secretary
