TVIA BOARD MEETING

January 4, 2014

The meeting was called to order by President Nancy Standley at 1PM.  Attendees were Gary Standley, Nancy Standley, Audrey Brown, Kent Brown, Vince Freemantle, Anita Freemantle, Dorothy Fullam, Kate Vogelsang, Phil Vogelsang, Dave and Merry Ann Grow, Gary Dodson, Bruce and Cathy Millerbis, Ann Garland, Carol Draper, Rogene Rawlins, Mona Pinochi, and Cindy Gatioan.

The minutes of the October meeting were read and approved.

Dorothy Fullam gave the treasurers report:

Beginning Balance $3733.02

Income:

Dues and Keys $   50.00

Expenses:

PG&E (Jan. Feb. &March)                     82.45

Carol Draper (Flowers for the sign)       22.56

Secretary of State (Filing Fee)       20.00

Total Expenses: $ 125.01

Ending Balance $3658.01

The Treasurer’s report was approved.

Old Business:

Cindy reported on the feral cats.  She has 5 cats ready to be spayed and neutered.   She will present a bill as soon as this is completed.  There are still cats to be adopted.  

Nancy asked Anita Freemantle about the equipment for HBVFD that is being donated.  Vince Freemantle and Bruce Millerbis will be going to Santa Cruz to pick up the SBCA’s being donated.

New Business:

Nancy reviewed the letter asking for donations to purchase the water company.  The donations come to TVIA and will be disbursed as needed to TVMWC for expenses   incurred for the purchase of the water company.

She discussed the expenses coming up for the purchase.  She also has talked to the sellers and assures us they are still very excited about the Village buying the company.  There will be more information on our Website.  

It was brought to our attention that someone in the Village has been setting off Fireworks.  Please call the Sheriff if you have concerns.  

Nancy read an email from Kathleen Cahill regarding a Facebook Group for Trinity Village.  It was discussed and the attendees at the meeting were not in favor of starting this.  Nancy will talk more with Kathleen and let her know our concerns.

The next meeting will be April 5, 2014 at the home of Gary and Nancy Standley , Hawkins Bar Road.
