Old Business:
It was noted that kids driving golf carts, etc.,
in the Village was not as bad this year. Seeing the Highway Patrol in the Village on occasion must have helped.
Charlene Lundblade has asked for volunteers
for a committee to help with the feral cat problem. Mary Brown, Merry Ann Grow, and Cindy Gatioan have offered to help.
New Business:
Nancy Standley presented a draft of an informal
complaint letter to the PUC about the recent problems with Verizon's phone service. Some residents who lost their service
as a result of the downed power line could not get their vital phones fixed promptly. The average time to get them repaired
was 3-5 days.. Pat Briggs, Carol Draper and Rogene Rawlins also had long waiting times for repair of their service and will
add their comments to the letter. With no cell service available to the Village residents it is crucial that we have
our landlines for emergencies.
The next meeting will by January 8, 2011 at
1:00 pm at the home of Audrey Brown.
With no further business to discuss, the meeting
was adjourned.
Respectfully Submitted,
Audrey Brown
Secretary
