NEW BUSINESS:
Gary Standley reported that the lights for the
entrance sign will be done soon. The ditch for the power lines has been dug by Whitson and the water company will pay to
have the lights installed.
Gary also called Trinity county road department
about the pot holes in our roads. Some have been filled.
Pat Briggs said there have been some concerns
about the condition of the Denny Road, where the water company has put in new water lines. As soon as the lines are pressure
tested, Mercer Fraser Co. will repair the road.
Nancy Standley shared old photos of Trinity Village.
The original sign, planting of trees, old street signs and other properties. She wants help identifying some of them so she
can use them in next years Newsletter. She is already starting on it and needs help from everyone doing articles, stories
and history of the village.
Gary asked for suggestions on projects for the
Village. It was suggested that we hire Joe Brooks to clean up the brush blocking the view on some of the corners in the village.
A motion was made and seconded that he be hired.
Audrey made a motion to hire Vince Freemantle
with his chipper to do chipping in the Village in early spring. The County will not be doing it this next year. It is important
to keep all spaces cleared for Fire Season. The motion was seconded by Dorothy Fullam and approved.
We discussed the River road and its need of repair.
There was some concern of how to repair it and who could repair it. Gary will get more information for the next meeting.
The next meeting will be January 2, 2010 at the
home of Kent and Audrey Brown, 50 Fisher Road, at 1:00 p.m.
With no further business, Gary Standley adjourned
the meeting.
Respectfully submitted,
Audrey Brown
