TVIA BOARD MEETING

April 6, 2013

The meeting was called to order by President Nancy Standley at 10: am.  Board members present were, Gary Standley, Nancy Standley, Audrey Brown, Carol Draper, Kent Brown, Vince Freemantle.    

The minutes of the January meeting were read and approved.

Nancy Standley gave the Treasurer’s report:

Beginning Balance $2037.71

Income:

Dues $    75.00

Expenses:

Nancy Standley (Poster) $     5.30

PG&E (Jan. Feb. &March)                     81.29

Total Expenses: $    86.59

Ending Balance $2026.12

The Treasurer’s report was approved.

Old Business:

The Verizon telephone issue has been cleared up.

Nancy thanked Carol and Rogene again for the beautiful plants at the village sign.

The letter to the Trinity County Road department went out and a copy sent to Debra Chapman.  She responded by coming to our meeting today with Mr. Tippett  From the road department.  

Cindy reported on the feral cats.  Our local Vet.  Dr. Mike is no longer in WillowCreek. She has taken 2 cats into the Vet in Weaverville and 1 to the Vet in Mckinleyville.  She still has cats available for adoption; one is a 2 year old calico. 

New Business:

May 26th will be the annual Pickle walk/run.  


The annual HBFD rummage sale will be held June 6.

The next meeting will be July 6 at 11a.m. and the annual meeting will follow at noon.  The meeting will be held at the Fire House. There will be the election of officers and three board members.

President Standley introduced Debra Chapman and Mr. Tippett.  The board meeting was adjourned and the floor turned over to Supervisor Chapman for questions and answers.
